Development of image (Visual and X-Ray) based mango sorting and grading system and sensor-based monitoring system with block chain technology for supply chain banana under Network Programme on Precision Agriculture (NePPA) funded by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
Duration of Young Professional-II
The appointment will be purely temporary under contractual and coterminus basis, following the prescribed procedure for six months or till the completion date of the project. The appointments may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof
Remuneration for Young Professional-II
Rs. 42,000/- per month (No HRA will be paid) – as per rule
Educational Qualifications
Graduates in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Electronic & Communication Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Computer Engineering OR Graduates with at least 60% marks in Computer Application/ Information Technology/Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence with one-year experience in the relevant field. Desirable: Proficiency in programming using python and MATLAB, Deployment of software related to python & MATLAB, Edge computing, Image processing, IoT devices, Wireless sensor network, etc.
Age Limit Young Professional-II
Minimum age for Young Professional-II is 21 years and maximum 45 years (Relaxation as per rule)
Selection Procedure & Last date for application
The applications received shall be screened and shortlisted candidates will undergo a panel interview & Last Date of submission of application: 29.08.2024 till 5:00 pm
Date and time of Interview
The interview for Young Professional-II is scheduled on Date: 30.08.2024, 11.00 A.M, offline or online (for the online interview Zoom Link will be shared via email to the screened candidates before the date of interview
Other terms & conditions
- The above positions are purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project
- There is no provision for absorption/ re-employment in ICAR/ CIPHET/ after completion of time bound project
- Place of work will be CIPHET, Ludhiana. Travel may be required.
- No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview
- The applicants must bring with original documents and a brief of research work carried out during post-graduation / Ph.D. along with one set of photocopy at the time of interview
- No objection certificate from the employer in case he / she is employed elsewhere
- Experience certificate in original (if any)
- No separate interview call will be issued to candidates
- All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for necessary formalities
- Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post and, The Director, ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana’s decision will be final and binding in all respects
